Davina de Beer
Davina de Beer (b.1982) is a South African visual artist based in Seville, Spain.
She obtained her Masters degree in Fine Art in 2008, after which she moved to Oman, in the Middle East, where she taught Art & Design to students of all ages. During her time in Oman, De Beer participated in exhibitions in Oman, South Africa, and Monaco. She has had two solo exhibitions in the Middle East; Echo in Dubai at Gallery 76 in 2011, and Encoding the Landscape at Gallery Sarah in Muscat, Oman in 2020.
In 2022 she relocated to Spain from Oman, and has since been selected as finalist in the prestigious ARTE APARTE contemporary art competition in La Carolina, Spain, and has also participated in the group show "The Outsiders" at Galeria Zunino in Seville, Spain.
In 2022, De Beer co-founded the Non-Site Art Collective with fellow artist and friend, Adelheid Frackiewicz, and in 2023 they had their first public collaboration in a two woman show at the Turbine Art Fair in Johannesburg.
