Dzoka uyamwe – ‘Come back and breastfeed’, is a poignant reminder of the comfort and nourishment that home provides. This piece invites those who have wandered far from their roots to return and reconnect with their heritage, to rediscover the sense of belonging and identity that only home can offer. Just as a child returns to its mother's breast for sustenance and comfort, we too can return to our ancestral homes to rejuvenate, reflect, and rebuild. This artwork celebrates the idea that home is a sanctuary, a place where we can always come back to, to heal, to bond, and to find our strength again.
